The hub positions Málaga as a strategic gateway for international companies building and scaling engineering teams across Europe, the GCC, and global talent markets.
Abu Dhabi-based FJX Group, specializing in technology and business solutions, has inaugurated its first European Tech Hub in Málaga, Spain, to provide engineering capabilities for retail technology and fintech clients. Established with the support of the Regional Government of Andalusia and the City of Málaga, the hub operates under a Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) model and is expected to create more than 100 high-quality technology jobs. Its first anchor tenant, Fielmann Group AG, is already fully operational at the hub.
The opening of the Málaga Tech Hub marks another milestone in FJX Group's strategic expansion across Europe. The company is already evaluating its next facility, spanning between 3,000 and 5,000 square metres, which would increase the hub's capacity to 400 technology professionals. FJX is also in discussions with additional anchor clients looking to establish their engineering teams in Málaga.

The project has been developed also with the support of Andalucía TRADE, the business agency of the Regional Government of Andalusia, which accompanied FJX Group throughout its establishment in the region - from site selection to connecting the company with the local business and talent ecosystem.
